How To Measure
These measurements in inches are taken flat from seam to seam. We recommend comparing them with a piece at home and checking our size guide online if you have any doubts. Measurements may have small variations due to the production press.
(A) Waist Measured full circumference around the waistband.
(B) Front Rise Measured straight up the center front seam, starting from the crotch seam intersection up to the top edge of the waistband.
(C) Outseam Measured along the outer side seam, starting from the top edge of the waistband straight down to the bottom hem.
(D) Hip Measured straight across the widest point of the hip area.
(E) Inseam Measured along the inner leg seam, starting from the crotch seam intersection straight down to the bottom hem opening.
(F) Hem Width Measure straight across the bottom opening from edge to edge.

Orders ship in 1–5 business days (Mon–Fri).
We rest on weekends + holidays to stay human.
You’ll get a tracking email when your order ships.
If our carrier flags an address as invalid, we will contact you to verify your details. If we do not receive a response within 7 business days, your order will be canceled and fully refunded.
Shipping Return Policy:
- Online Returns Only: All items purchased in-store and online must be returned via our RETURN PORTAL! We do not accept physical returns or exchanges at the store.
- Email Receipt Required: A valid email receipt is mandatory to initiate any return or exchange.
- Shipping & Fees: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs to our warehouse. A $8 restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund amount.
- Eligibility: All standard online return/exchange eligibility rules apply.
- Rejected Returns: If your item does not pass our condition inspection, it will not be accepted. You may request to have the rejected item shipped back to you at your own expense within 7 days of the rejection notice. Unclaimed items after 7 days will be responsibly discarded.

Risk of Loss (UCC § 2-509 — in human words):
Once we hand your package to a carrier and they scan it in, the carriers are responsible for getting it to you.
We’re a small brand — we can’t absorb carrier mistakes the way Amazon can.
If you want coverage until final delivery, please add shipping protection at checkout.
Please note that Sundae School is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments that do not have shipping protection. However, we will do our best to provide any documentation or information needed to assist with filing a claim with the carrier. If the carrier approves a claim and reimburses a partial amount of the package’s value, that amount will be refunded to you. Sundae School will not issue a refund beyond the amount covered by the carrier.
If you purchased package protection with your order and your package is lost, you can file a claim here.
Claims must be submitted no later than 30 days from the time of delivery. This is determined by the carrier, and is out of our control once outside the window.
FTC SHIPPING TIMING (16 CFR § 435)
We legally must ship within the time advertised — or within 30 days if nothing is stated.
If there’s a delay, we’ll notify you + give you the option to cancel for a full refund.
PACKAGE PROTECTION
Your package protection covers shipping mishaps caused by carriers during transit. It is added to all orders by default, but you may remove it on the cart page before checkout. Please note that once it is removed, we're unable to assist with any shipping-related issues.
Your package protection also includes a free return label, meaning the cost of the return shipping is covered if you choose to return or exchange your order. However, it does not cover restocking fees charged by our third-party warehouse, as these are not related to shipping mishaps, nor overrides final-sale eligibility.
If your package is lost and you purchased Package Protection with your order, please file a lost package claim here.
MISSING OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Once a package is marked “Delivered”, our delivery obligation is complete under UCC § 2-509 & § 2-510.
If it says “Delivered” but you can’t find it:
- Check with neighbors/building staff
- Contact the carrier to file a claim
- We’ll support with any proof they need
We cannot refund, replace, or reship delivered packages.
If you purchased package protection with your order and your package is lost, you can file a claim here.
Lost Before Delivery:
If tracking stalls or there’s no delivery scan, please contact our team for an investigation.
Undeliverable Packages:
Wrong address / refused / unclaimed → please reach out to our team and we can arrange a reshipment for an additional shipping fee.
Original shipping isn’t refundable.
DAMAGED / DEFECTIVE ITEMS
First of all, we’re so sorry that your item arrived in less-than-perfect condition 😭. While we don’t currently offer repair services, we’ll do our best to make this right for you.
Please email us at counselor@sundae.school with clear photos or videos of the issue, and our team will assist you as soon as possible.
Need an extra button?
Most of our garments include extra buttons inside the item. If your item did not come with extra buttons, feel free to reach out to us and we'll be happy to help.
Lost the extra buttons or your order was delivered over a month ago? You can still request replacement buttons for a small shipping fee.
PRICE MATCHING
We’ll match a lower price with store credit within 7 days of purchase if:
- The item is identical (size/color)
- In stock
- Sold full-price at sundae.school or an authorized retailer
- You provide proof (screenshot/link)
Not eligible:
Flash sales, discount codes, bundles, promos, unauthorized resellers.
Adjustments:
Issued as store credit only, per UCC § 2-209 (contract modifications require written agreement).
Once store credit is issued, the transaction becomes final sale.
INTERNATIONAL
We currently ship directly to the U.S. only.
If you use a third-party forwarding service (like Forward2Me) to send your order internationally, the item becomes Final Sale and is ineligible for returns or exchanges.
